Somato Emotional Release is a therapeutic process that helps rid the mind and body of residual effects of past trauma and associated negative responses.  The body often retains -rather than dissipates- physical forces as the result of accident, injury or emotional trauma. Following trauma, the body isolates the dysfunctional area, creating what has been termed an "energy cyst".  The practitioner will assist the client to physically identify and expel the energy cyst through re-experiencing and resolving unpleasant incidences by dialoguing methods and integrated techniques. The emphasis is on wholeness and self-healing. The goal is a comfortable holistic mind-body approach to the resolution of problems and obstacles related to the client's progress and growth.
